About
Deborah Dunlop, a self-taught fiber artist, has skillfully embraced the worlds of art quilting, traditional quilting, and other needle arts, leading her to develop a unique and beautiful thread painting technique. Her works, including stunning reproductions of Van Gogh, Monet, and Klimt, are cherished for their exquisite detail and craftsmanship.
Deborah’s journey with fiber and felting began in 2013, inspired by renowned fiber artists Andrea Graham and Chad Alice Hagen. Her intricate thread work not only captivates but also inspires, as she shares her skills and passion through popular workshops at her welcoming studio in Windsor, Ontario.
Deborah's artistic career took root in 1997 with the opening of a small consignment store, a dream that allowed her to combine her entrepreneurial spirit with her love for crafting. This store became a vibrant learning space where she could experiment endlessly with fibers, fabrics, threads, and yarns.
You can experience Deborah's artistry firsthand by visiting Fusion Fiber Arts, her retail and maker’s studio. Open from Tuesday to Saturday, 12-5, it’s a friendly and inspiring place where creativity and community come together.
